The annoying thing, of course, is that you have to get new connectors if you want to connect your iPad to a projector or external display. It can carry more power, therefore faster to charge and can transfer data quicker. For one it’s an industry standard – unlike the previous lightning connector, which is Apple’s own proprietary technology. There are a lot of benefits with this new charger.
